grading and exams
There will be three exams during the semester. Each of these
exams will be worth 100 points. After normalizing to
a common mean the low score will be dropped; there will be no
make-up exams. There will be a final examination that is cumulative,
i.e., it covers the entire course, and will be worth 100
points; the final may not be dropped. Thus, grading will
be based on a total of 300 possible points.
