course information

textbook
J.R. Krebs & N.B. Davies, An Introduction to Behavioral
Ecology, 3rd edition. Additional required reading: Each
week, 1-2 original scientific papers will be the focus of discussion
sections. The list of papers and their locations are posted
on the class web page. All papers are in the bulkpack at the
University Biomedical Library; some can also be located electronically

grading and exams
Grading for the course will be determined by three midterm
exams, weighted equally. There will be no final exam. The format
for all exams will be essays and short answers. You are encouraged
to discuss your exam answers with instructors or TAs during
weekly office hours. Students who would like their answers to
be considered for a re-grade must submit a written request and
explanation within 48 hours after the exam has been returned.
You should be aware, however, that exam scores are rarely changed.
