    The reading material may be purchased at the University of Pennsylvania bookstore:

    • Principles of Neural Science, 4th ed., Kandel, Schwartz, and Jessel, McGraw-Hill, 2000.

grading and exams

    Grading is based on 2 midterm exams (25% each) and 1 final exam (50%). Exams will be multiple choice and short essay. Any questions regarding the grading of a specific question on an exam must be presented in writing within one week after the exams are returned.
