Students will understand the concepts of human inheritance patterns and human molecular genetics by applying classical and molecular genetic analysis. Student will recognize the relationships of structure, function, and regulation of the human genome and be able to apply this information to various aspects of life.

    • Human Genetics: Concepts and Applications,4th edition. Lewis, Ricki. MgGraw - Hill
    • Case Workbook in Human Genetics, 2nd edition. Lewis, Ricki. MgGraw – Hill

grading and exams

    Grades will be base on 4 exams + unit quizzes [70%] and power point presentation of weekly cases [30%]. These will be presentations will be from the case workbook. They should include: title page; explanation of case background; answers to each question; explanation relationship of key words to case; conclusions. *Each student in audience should bring to class a question for the weekly presenter/s.
