grading and exams

My goal for Conservation Biology is to make this a true seminar course. That means discussion and lots of it! Your grade in the course will be largely based on your participation in these discussions. To effectively participate, you must thoroughly read the assigned material and come to class prepared to talk about it. On the plus side, if the discussions go well, there will be no “major” exams (but there will be occasional short, in class assignments based on the reading).

lecture schedule

Please refer to the BIOL 010 PDF talk schedule for more information on this course.

academic integrity

All relevant University policies regarding Academic Integrity must be followed. This includes no cheating, no plagiarism and reporting any knowledge thereof. Please consult the Student Handbook or the appropriate web-page: http://www.college.upenn.edu/responsibilities/integrity.html
