Dr. Shelly Berger has been elected as a Fellow of the American Association for Advancement of Science.

The American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) Council has elected 701 members as Fellows of AAAS. These individuals are recognized for their contributions to science and technology.   The AAAS is an international non-profit organization dedicated to advancing science around the world by serving as an educator, leader, spokesperson and professional association. It is the world's largest general scientific society and the publisher of the well-known scientific journal Science. Interestingly, the AAAS was founded in Philadelphia in 1848 and held its first scientific meeting at Penn.
