Congratulations to Ms. Maria Diaz for being awarded the School of Arts and Sciences Dean's Award for Distinguished Teaching by a Graduate Student for the 2012-2013 academic year. This award recognizes Maria for her teaching that is both intellectually rigorous and exceptionally coherent. This award was supported by Maria's students who stated that she had a considerable impact in helping them learn all about cell biology and biochemistry. The Biology Graduate Program is very proud of Maria and her contribution to the department through her accomplishments.
