Biology graduate students receive Teece Awards to support research

Ben Glass, Yirui Hong, and Marcelina Martynek (from left) were selected by the Graduate Division in the School of Arts and Sciences to receive Teece Dissertation Research Awards for the 2024-2025 academic year. Teece Awards can be used to cover any research expense including travel to national and international meetings.

Teece Awards are made possible by an endowment from David and Leigh Teece. David J. Teece received his PhD in Economics from Penn and is the Thomas W. Tusher Professor in Global Business at the Haas School of the University of California at Berkeley. The award recognizes students with outstanding academic records and an impressive plan for dissertation research.
